AnAn: Share Your Ideas and Enjoy Some Poetry

“The first one is an opinion essay, which I recently wrote … about sharing our ideas. The second one is a poem that I wrote for fun.”

Hello, everyone. Have you ever wanted to share your ideas with your community and the world? Maybe you wanted to, but you did not know how to. Here are some ideas.

First, boost your speaking skills. I once ran for Student Council Vice President. I spent countless hours practicing and improving my election speech. Eventually, I won! During my time in office, I contributed many of my ideas to school projects.

Next, to get your point across, be educated. I have learned a lot about math, science, and language arts at my school. Critical thinking, for example, is taught in schools and plays a huge role in public speaking. It helps for better understanding and communication.

Furthermore, listen to others so they will listen to you. Participating in community events can develop bonds with other people. I once attended a town hall meeting that featured political election candidates. I learned a lot about their views and got my opinions heard.

Last but not least, step in and share your talents. I started a free online literature club for kids who had limited learning. You will make more friends, get your voice heard, and your ideas shared when you show the world that you care.

So, remember to practice your speaking skills, get educated, and help others. All those can make your audience listen to you and get your ideas shared. Good luck!

Sharing a poem with the Her Move Next Community…

MY LITTLE BALL

I had a little ball,

Bouncing through the streets,

Dodging people here and there, he wouldn’t fall asleep.

One day I tried to take a ride,

On my little ball.

Pop!

I rode the ground instead.
